Ignition Cable - Installation

INSTALLATION






CAUTION: Failure to route the spark plug cables properly could cause the radio to reproduce ignition noise, cross ignition of the spark plugs or short circuit the cables to ground.

1. Install the spark plug insulators over the spark plugs. Ensure the top of the spark plug insulator covers the upper end of the spark plug tube.
2. Connect the other end of the spark plug cable to the coil pack.
3. Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
