Knock Sensor - Removal

1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Perform the fuel pressure release procedure Service and Repair
3. Drain the cooling system Service and Repair
4. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
5. Remove the air cleaner body Air Cleaner Body - Removal





6. Remove the upper and lower intake manifolds Intake Manifold - Removal.





7. Disconnect electrical connector from knock sensor.
8. Remove the knock sensor from the engine block.
