Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove the negative battery cable retainer (1) to the IBS and remove the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the IBS electrical connector (2).

WARNING: Do not remove the captive nut, doing so will cause the stud to break.

3. Loosen the captive nut (3).
4. Remove the IBS from the negative battery post.
