- Position the water pump assembly (3) into the water pump housing (4).
- Install the mounting bolts (2). Tighten the bolts to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).
- Install the water pump pulley (1). Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 in lbs.).
- Install the drive belt splash shield.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery terminal.
- Evacuate air and refill cooling system. Refer to PUMP, WATER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Check cooling system for leaks. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
