Radiator, Engine Cooling: Installation: Installation

1 - A/C LINE
2 - SUPPORT BRACKET
  1. Position the A/C condenser onto the radiator.
  2. Slide the radiator/condenser assembly into position and seat the radiator assembly lower rubber isolators in the mount holes.
  3. Install the mounting brackets to the upper core support using two Torx screws.
  4. Install A/C lines to condenser/cooler.
  5. Install transmission oil cooler tubes support bracket to radiator (2). Tighten mounting screws to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
  6. Position radiator cooling fan assembly on radiator. Refer to FAN, COOLING, INSTALLATION .

  7. Install upper and lower radiator hoses at radiator.
  8. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
  9. Install front bottom splash shield (if equipped).
  10. Install under belly pan (if equipped).
  11. Fill cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  12. Charge A/C system. Refer to PLUMBING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  13. Install air box assembly. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION for 2.4L or BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION for 3.6L.
  14. Connect negative battery cable.
  15. Install engine cover.
