Impact Sensors

Two types of impact sensors are used in this vehicle. They are the acceleration-type and the pressure-type. In addition, in vehicles manufactured for sale in certain export markets where the Electronic Pedestrian Protection (EPP) system (also known as the PedPro or the Active Hood System) is factory-installed safety equipment have dedicated acceleration-type sensors for that feature.
