Engine Controls - Self-Diagnostics: Identification: Notes

CAUTION: Disconnect negative battery cable before removing or installing any electrical unit or when a tool or equipment could easily come in contact with exposed electrical terminals. Disconnecting this cable will help prevent personal injury and damage to vehicle. The ignition switch must also be in LOCK position unless otherwise noted.

NOTE: If vehicle Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Electronic Control Module (ECM) is replaced, the replacement module must be reprogrammed. See authorized dealer service for reprogramming procedure.
