Oxygen Sensor

The oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold. This sensor sends a signal to the computer. The voltage output of the oxygen sensor is proportional to the oxygen content of the exhaust gases. The computer will adjust the air/fuel mixture to a level which will maintain operating efficiency of the 3-way catalyst system and engine.
