Electronic Entry Module: Diagnostics
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 Dodge Viper and 2000 Dodge Viper. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The EEM system is fully addressable with DRB III(R) and it is the recommended method for diagnosis. The EEM system does not display any Diagnostic Trouble Codes. All of the input switches to the EEM can be read with DRB under the I/O screen. The doors can be unlatched with the DRB under actuator tests. If the inputs are OK and the outputs can be cycled with the DRB, the problem is usually the Electronic Entry Module.
