Memory Position No. 1 Stuck
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect memory set switch harness connector. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, check memory position one status. If OPEN is not displayed, go to next step. If OPEN is displayed, replace memory set switch.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) harness connector C1. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 6 (Pink/Red wire) at memory set switch harness connector. See Fig 1
. If resistance is greater than 1000 ohms, replace MHSMM. If resistance is 1000 ohms or less, repair short to ground in Pink/Red wire between memory set switch and MHSMM.
