Memory Switch Inoperative
NOTE:
Ensure seat frame is connected to ground if seat is unbolted from vehicle.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect memory set switch harness connector. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 3 (Black wire) at memory set switch harness connector. See Figure . If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire between memory set switch and ground.
- Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at terminals No. 4 (Pink/White wire), No. 5 (Pink/Black wire) and No. 6 (Pink/Red wire) at memory set switch harness connector. If any voltage is .5 volt or less, go to next step. If all voltages are greater than .5 volt, replace memory set switch.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) harness connector C1. Measure resistance in appropriate wire(s) between memory set switch harness connector and MHSMM harness connector C1. See MEMORY SET SWITCH CIRCUITS table. See Figure and Figure . If resistances are 5 ohms or less, replace MHSMM. If any resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in appropriate wire between memory set switch and MHSMM.

|---|---|---|
| 4 | 25 | Pink/White |
| 5 | 13 | Pink/Black |
| 6 | 12 | Pink/Red |
