Active Restraints

The active restraints for this vehicle include:

• Child Restraint Anchor  - All vehicles are equipped with a fixed-position child seat upper tether anchor for the passenger seat. This upper anchor is secured to the frame cross member at the top of the bulkhead panel behind the passenger seat.
• Seat Belts  - Both seating positions are equipped with three-point seat belt systems employing an upper bulkhead panel mounted inertia latch-type emergency locking retractor, a fixed sport bar hoop receiver mounted turning loop, a fixed lower seat belt anchor secured to the inner sill near the base of the B-pillar and a traveling end-release seat belt buckle secured to a bracket near the back of the upper inboard seat track. The driver and passenger side seat belt buckles include an integral seat belt switch that detects whether the seat belts have been fastened.
