1 - LOCKING FINGER
2 - WIRE TERMINAL
CAUTION:

Handle the fuel level sensor with extreme care while installing to the fuel pump module housing. The sensor is very fragile and can be damaged very easily if the float is allowed to move and fall back onto itself. A inaccurate gauge reading or no reading at all may result.

CAUTION:

Make sure the signal and ground wires are installed in the correct position. Make sure each electrical terminal (2) is locked into position by the locking finger (1).

  1. Push the fuel level sensor electrical terminal up into bottom of fuel pump/level sensor connector. Install the fuel level sensor signal and ground terminals to the connector.
