Active Restraints
The active restraints for this vehicle include:
- Child Restraint Anchors - This commercial vehicle is not designed for use as a family vehicle and is not intended for carrying children in the passenger seat(s). Never install rearward-facing child restraints in this vehicle. Although the seat belt can be locked to secure a child restraint, there are no tether anchorages to complete the proper installation of a forward-facing child restraint. If a child must be carried in a forward-facing child restraint, the passenger seat should be moved to the full rearward position and the child must be in a proper restraint system based on its age, size and weight. Refer to the owner manual in the vehicle glove box for additional information.
- Seat Belts - All seating positions are equipped with three-point seat belt systems. Outboard seating positions employ a lower B-pillar mounted inertia latch-type emergency locking retractor, height-adjustable upper B-pillar mounted turning loops, a fixed lower seat belt anchor secured to the lower B-pillar and a traveling end-release seat belt buckle secured to the inboard side of the upper inner seat adjuster track. In vehicles equipped with an optional passenger side bench seat, the center seating position retractor is secured to the seat structure and the turning loop is in a fixed location at the top of the seat back. The driver side seat belt buckle includes an integral seat belt switch that detects whether the driver seat belt has been fastened.
