Heater, Engine Block: Removal
- Remove the A/C compressor (1) and position it aside. Refer to COMPRESSOR, A/C, REMOVAL
.
The block heater is located on the driver side towards the front of the engine.
- Partially drain the coolant from the radiator and cylinder block. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect the power cord from the block heater.
- Remove the fastener (2) and remove the block heater assembly (1).
