Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair

1. Remove lower steering column cover and disconnect four-wire connector. On tilt column, remove wires from connector and tape two wires back along harness. Tape string to wire harness. On standard column, tape string to connector.
2. Pull control switch assembly straight out and remove from headlamp switch. Pull wiring harness slowly up through and out of steering column.
3. Reverse procedure to install. On tilt columns, route harness through opening in left side of steering shaft.
