Mixture Control Solenoid: Service and Repair

1. Remove air cleaner.
2. Disconnect solenoid wire connector.
3. Remove retaining screws and unit from carburetor.
4. Coat rubber seal on end of stem on replacement solenoid with silicone grease or light weight engine oil.
5. Using a new gasket, install replacement solenoid into carburetor and secure with screws.

CAUTION: Make sure to accurately align solenoid stem in recess at bottom of bowl during installation.

6. Connect solenoid wire connector and install air cleaner.
