Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

NOTE: The microprocessor unit is located in the passenger compartment on the right hand side behind the kick panel.


1. Remove MCU attaching bolts.

2. Disconnect harness connectors.


CAUTION: Make sure that connector terminals are not forced out of position or bent when connecting connector.


3. Reverse procedure to install.


CAUTION: The ECM bracket is insulated from the vehicle. Do Not Ground It.
