EGR Solenoid

  1. Disconnect EGR solenoid electrical connector. Connect 12 volts to one terminal of solenoid. Connect a jumper wire to the other terminal of solenoid.
  2. Each time jumper wire is grounded, solenoid should click. If solenoid clicks, solenoid is operating properly. If solenoid does not click, replace solenoid.
