Manifold Air Temperature (MAT) Sensor
- Disconnect wire harness connector from MAT sensor. Using a DVOM, sensor resistance should be less than 1000 ohms with engine at operating temperature.
- Check resistance between ECU terminal "C8" and sensor connector and ECU terminal "D3" and sensor connector. See Figure
. Repair wire harness if resistance is more than one ohm. Refer to MANIFOLD AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE
table. Replace sensor if not within specification.
