Power Transistor (1.5L)
- Remove connector from power transistor. Using an ohmmeter, place positive lead of ohmmeter to terminal No. 2 and negative lead to No. 3. See Figure . Ensure there is no continuity.
- Using a 1.5-volt dry cell battery, connect positive end of 1.5-volt battery to transistor terminal No. 1 and negative end of 1.5-volt battery to transistor terminal No. 2. Place positive lead of ohmmeter to terminal No. 2 and negative lead to terminal No. 3 to ensure continuity is present. Replace power transistor if readings are not as specified.
