Steering Column: Description

Steering columns are either fixed or tilt. The gearshift mechanism is attached to steering column jacket. The tilt column has a 2-piece steering shaft with centering spheres in between to allow lateral wheel movement. Both columns connect to steering gear by an intermediate shaft.
