Fuel Pressure

  1. Ensure engine is at operating temperature. Disconnect fuel hose from carburetor. Connect a fuel pressure gauge with a "T" fitting to fuel hose end.
  2. Disconnect fuel return hose from fuel pump. Plug fuel pump return opening. Start and run engine at 2500 RPM. Fuel pump pressure should be within specification. See FUEL PUMP SPECIFICATIONS table.
