Oxygen Sensor (1.8L)

  1. Oxygen sensor is located at outlet of exhaust manifold. Warm engine until coolant temperature reaches 185-205°F (85-95°C).
  2. Disconnect oxygen sensor connector. Connect a voltmeter. See Fig 1 . With engine running at more than 1300 RPM, measure oxygen sensor output voltage. Output voltage should be approximately one volt. If output voltage is not within specification, replace oxygen sensor.
