Distributor (1.8L): Installation
- To install distributor, reverse removal procedure. Go to step 4). If reference mark was not made as described in removal procedure, go to next step.
- Turn crankshaft so that No. 1 cylinder is at TDC on compression stroke. Align distributor housing and gear mating marks. Perform STEP 1. See Fig 1
.
- Install distributor to engine while aligning fine cut (groove) of distributor installation flange with center of distributor installation stud. Perform STEP 2. See Fig 1

- Adjust ignition timing. See appropriate ADJUSTMENTS
