2.0L & 2.0L Turbo
- Loosen throttle cable. Disconnect idle position switch connector. See Fig 1
. Loosen lock nut on idle position switch.
- Turn idle position switch counterclockwise until throttle valve fully closes. Connect a DVOM between idle switch terminal and ground. Turn idle switch clockwise until DVOM indicates continuity.
- Turn idle position switch another 15/16 of a turn from point where DVOM indicated continuity. Hold idle position switch while tightening lock nut. Adjust throttle cable, basic idle speed and throttle position sensor.
