Fuel Pump: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Line up alignment pins with fuel pump panel and install pump. See Fig 2 . Apply sealer to fuel pump access cover, and install cover. Fill fuel tank. Start engine and check for leaks.

1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Line up alignment pins with fuel pump access panel. Install fuel pump. See Figure .
2. Install new "O" ring and fuel pump-to-bottom of fuel tank securing bolt. Tighten bolt before tightening remaining fuel pump bolts. Ensure "O" ring is not pinched. Fill fuel tank. Start engine and check for leaks.
