Ignition System: Distributor: Installation
- Ensure piston No. 1 is still at TDC of compression stroke. Install distributor. Ensure distributor "O" ring is properly seated on engine block. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
- Adjust ignition timing. See appropriate ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section. Tighten distributor bolt.
