Test 13A - Mic Parking Brake Warning Light
NOTE:

- Turn ignition on. Disengage parking brake if set. Ensure parking brake lever moves freely. Check if BRAKE warning light is on. If BRAKE warning light is on, go to TEST 14A.
- If BRAKE warning light is off, disconnect parking brake switch connector. Connector is located above brake pedal bracket. With DRB-II in voltmeter mode, check voltage on parking brake switch connector parking brake light control circuit (Gray/Black wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open circuit in Gray/Black wire. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
- If voltage is more than 10 volts, connect jumper wire between chassis ground and parking brake light control circuit (Gray/Black wire) on parking brake switch connector. If BRAKE warning light is off, go to TEST 6B . If BRAKE warning light is on, replace parking brake switch. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
