Fuel Pump: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Line up alignment pins with fuel pump panel and install pump. See Fig 2 . Apply sealer to fuel pump access cover, and install cover. Fill fuel tank. Start engine and check for leaks.

1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Line up alignment pins with fuel pump panel. See Figure . Install fuel pump.
2. Install new "O" ring and fuel pump to bottom of fuel tank securing bolt. Tighten fuel tank bolt before tightening remaining fuel pump bolts. Ensure "O" ring is not pinched. Fill fuel tank. Start engine and check for leaks.
