Oxygen (O2) Sensor (1.8L)

  1. O2 sensor is located at outlet of exhaust manifold. Warm engine until coolant temperature reaches 176-194°F (80-90°C).
  2. Disconnect O2 sensor connector and connect a voltmeter to connector. With engine speed greater than 1300 RPM, measure O2 sensor output voltage. Output voltage should be .6-1.0 volt. If output voltage is not within specification, replace O2 sensor.
