Engine Compression

Check engine compression with engine at normal operating temperature and specified cranking speed, all spark plugs removed and throttle wide open.

(1) Engine speed at 250-400 RPM.
(2) Maximum difference between each cylinder should not exceed 25 percent.
(3) - Maximum difference between each cylinder should not exceed 14 psi (.98 kg/cm2 ).
