Test 39B - Shorted Left Front Door Ajar Circuit
NOTE:

- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.3L
- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.5L
- Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
- Disconnect left front door ajar switch connector. Using scan tool, read left front door ajar switch status. If scan tool does not display LF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, replace left front door switch. If scan tool displays LF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, go to next step.
- Gain access to Body Control Module (BCM). is located behind right kick panel. Disconnect BCM Gray connector. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of BCM Gray connector terminal No. 6 (Tan wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Tan wire. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace BCM.
