DTC 54 - Motor Relay Circuit

NOTE: If after all testing procedures have been completed system is not functioning properly, substitute ECU with known-good unit and retest.
  1. Turn ignition off. If motor stops, go to next step. If motor does not stop, remove motor relay connector. Inspect connector terminals for damage and repair if necessary. If connector terminals are okay, check and repair Green/Black wire between motor terminal No. 4 and ECU terminal No. 7. See WIRING DIAGRAM .
  2. Check and repair connectors and wiring harness between motor relay and ECU. If connectors and wiring are okay, replace ECU.
