Motor Relay

  1. Remove motor relay. Using a DVOM, check resistance between relay terminals No. 2 and 4. See Figure. Resistance should be 90-110 ohms. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should not exist.
  2. Apply battery voltage between relay terminals No. 2 and No. 4. Check Resistance between terminals No. 1 and 3. Resistance should be zero ohms. If relay does not test as specified, replace relay.
