Abs Power Relay

NOTE: ABS power relay is used on AWD only.
  1. Remove ABS power relay located next to ABS-ECU. See Fig 1 . Disconnect ABS power relay connector. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between ABS power relay connector terminals No. 1 and 3. If continuity does not exist, go to next step. If continuity exists, replace relay.
  2. Check for continuity between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace relay.
  3. Connect positive lead of 12-volt power source to terminal No. 4 and negative lead to terminal No. 2. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3. If continuity exists, relay is okay. If continuity does not exist, replace relay.
