WARNING:
Under normal operating conditions, ABS is under high pressure. Before servicing any component or opening fluid reservoir, system pressure must be released. With ignition switch in OFF position, pump brake pedal a minimum of 20-25 times using full pedal strokes. When a definite increase in pedal effort is felt, pump pedal twice more.
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURE article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
