Power Window Relay

  1. Remove power window relay from fuse/relay block located under left side of instrument panel. See Fig 1 . Check continuity between power window relay terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 2 . Continuity should exist. Check continuity between power window relay terminals No. 4 and 5. Continuity should not exist. If continuity is as specified, go to next step. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.
  2. Using jumper wires and a 12-volt power source, apply battery positive to relay terminal No. 1 and battery negative to relay terminal No. 3. Continuity should exist between relay terminals No. 4 and 5. If continuity does not exist, replace relay.
