Test TC-113C: EVAP Purge Flow Monitor Failure

NOTE: On Sebring Convertible, EVAP system is located behind right headlight. On all other models, EVAP system is located near fuel tank.
  1. Remove proportional purge solenoid. Tap solenoid ports against a clean surface. If any foreign material falls out, go to next step. If foreign material did not fall out, replace proportional purge solenoid. Perform TEST VER-2A .
  2. Inspect vacuum line from proportional purge solenoid to canister. If vacuum line is damaged, replace vacuum line and replace proportional purge solenoid. Perform TEST VER-2A . If vacuum line is not damaged, clean out line and replace proportional purge solenoid and canister. Perform TEST VER-2A .
