Auto Shutdown Relay - Removal

REMOVAL





The Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay (1) is located in the engine compartment within the Power Distribution Center (PDC). Always refer to the label on the power distribution center cover for relay location.

1. Remove the power distribution center cover.
2. Remove the relay from the power distribution center.
3. Check the condition of the relay terminals and power distribution center connector terminals for damage or corrosion. Repair if necessary before installing the relay.
4. Check for pin height (pin height should be the same for all terminals within the power distribution center connector). Repair if necessary before installing the relay.
