Oil Viscosity Sensor - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Lightly lubricate the new O-ring seal (1) with clean engine oil.





2. Install the oil viscosity sensor (2) to the oil pan and tighten to 13 Nm (115 in. lbs.).
3. Connect the viscosity sensor harness connector (1).
4. Install the belly pan Belly Pan - Installation.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. If removed, install the oil filter and fill the engine crankcase with the proper oil to the correct level Service and Repair.
7. Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
8. Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
