The Body Control Module (BCM) (1) is located under the driver side of the instrument panel behind the hood latch release.

The BCM integrates an electromechanical section for power distribution and an electronic management section for the control of body electrical functions and vehicle communications. The BCM includes a double row of fuses for circuit protection single-terminal battery power connector.

The BCM integrates a series of built-in relays to operate body electrical circuits, such as low beams, power windows, central locking, front and rear windshield wipers, and interior lights. The BCM internal relays are mounted to the printed circuit board and are not serviceable. In addition, the BCM contains high-side drivers and low-side drivers to control and protect circuits with low inductive loads.
