Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

NOTE:

In case of replacement of the throttle body, connect the diagnosis tool, enter "actuators" and execute the self-learning procedure.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, TRANSMISSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the right front splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the air cleaner intake tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Undo the nuts (1a) and move the wiring mounting bracket (1b) aside.

  6. Disconnect the electrical connection (1).
  7. Release the wiring from the retaining bracket (2).
  8. Undo the bolts (3a) and nuts (3b). Remove the throttle body (3c) and the retaining bracket (2).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Check that throttle body is not damaged.

  2. Fit a new O-Ring (1) on the intake chamber.
  3. Fit the throttle body and the mounting bracket in position and securely tighten the bolts and nuts.
  4. Secure the wiring to the retaining bracket.
  5. Connect the electrical connection.
  6. Fit the wiring mounting bracket in position and tighten the nuts.
  7. Install the air cleaner intake tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the right front splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  9. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, TRANSMISSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  10. Connect the negative battery terminal.
