Sensor, Air Temperature, Intake: Installation

NOTE:

This sensor monitors both Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) and Manifold Air Pressure (MAP).

The IAT/MAP sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.
Apply a small amount of engine oil to the sensor O-ring (1).

Install the IAT/MAP sensor (1) into the intake manifold with the bolt (2) tightened to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
Connect and lock the wire harness connector (3) to the sensor.

Install the air cleaner body (1). Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
