Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the fuel pump module. Refer to MODULE, FUEL PUMP, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) for the fuel level sending unit.

3. Press the top of the clips (1a) inwards and then lift up the fuel level sensor (1b - 2nd illustration) complete with float and remove it.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the fuel level sensor, complete with float, engage the clips of the submerged fuel pump drum.
2. Connect the wire harness connector to the fuel level sending unit.
3. Install the fuel pump module. Refer to MODULE, FUEL PUMP, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
