Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1/3

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Unlock and disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector (1).
4. Remove the IAT sensor from the turbocharger air outlet pipe.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the IAT sensor.
2. Connect and lock the IAT sensor wire harness connector.
3. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
