REMOVAL

NOTE:

In case of replacement of the throttle body, connect the diagnosis tool, enter "actuators" and execute the self-learning procedure.

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
Remove the turbocharger to throttle body air outlet pipe. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Remove wire harness from the retaining clip (1a).
Disconnect the wire harness connector (1b) from the throttle body.

Remove the screws (1a) and remove the throttle body (1b).
Remove the gasket.

INSTALLATION

Install a new gasket on the inlet manifold.
Install the throttle body retaining screws and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FUEL INJECTION, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
Connect the wire harness connector to the throttle body.
Install the turbocharger to throttle body air outlet pipe. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
