Calibration Number Identification

To identify the calibration number of an engine, find the engine code label at front of rocker arm cover on 4 and 6 cylinder engines, or on front of right valve cover and side of left valve cover on V8 engines. Determine calibration number from label using example illustrated. Use engine size, model and calibration number to find proper diagram from this index.

NOTE: Some calibration numbers are carried over from 1979; these will have the number "9" as the first digit. All other codes should begin with "O", indicating 1980 models.
