Leakage Test
- Wipe injector tip dry (DO NOT use fingers). Using injector tester, maintain pressure at 1420-1560psi (100-110 kg/cm2 ). No fuel leakage should occur. A slight wetting of injector tip after 5 seconds is okay, but if droplets form or fall from injector, it must be replaced.
- Operate tester using quick strokes while observing flow from injector return ports. A slight leak-off of one or 2 drops per stroke is normal. If fuel squirts from return port, injector must be replaced.
