Turbo Boost Control Solenoid Valve Check
- Remove small air tube from turbocharger inlet air hose. Disconnect turbo boost control solenoid valve electrical connector. See Fig 1 .
- Blow through small air tube and ensure air will not flow. Apply 12 volts to one terminal of the electrical connector and ground the other terminal.
- Blow through the air tube and ensure that air flows through the tube. If solenoid valve does not pass test, replace solenoid valve.
